Our Story

As a long time RV and classic car owner, I was cursed with the typical problem we have all faced. 

Every year or two, my windshield wipers failed from the constant and substantial pressure of the wiper arms pressing the thin rubber blade edge onto the windshield causing the edge to permanently "warp over".

 When I went to use my wipers again, all I got was that annoying skipping and streaking that we have experienced.

I was trying to figure out why my expensive wipers were always failing. Like you, I felt that it must be a collusion by the wiper manufacturers to bilk us out of thousands of dollars for new blades every time we turned around. While I was washing my windshield at a RV park one day, I noticed that the wiper edge was severely bent upward from the force exerted by the heavy spring of the large wiper arms pressing the blades onto the windshield.

I initially figured that I would just keep my wipes folded open so they were no longer pressing onto the windshield, but that was not practical since they stick out so far and were more likely to get bent or broken. 

I began trying many different options until I developed the simple and inexpensive product that you see here! 

Remember, wiper "covers" do not eliminate the warping problem, they just help protect them from the sun. Wiper savers also work along with your mesh wiper covers.
